Last days of summer…

Where did the time go? We’re in the final days of August, enjoying the cool nights and early morning fog in the Blue Ridge. School has begun again and the birds are beginning to fly south.

We’re preparing for a busy fall season at Copper Hill Retreat. There are some special events planned and reservations for our first floor apartment for overnight lodging are available. The apartment has a plush queen size futon bed and singles, sleeping up to 4. If you’re traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway, we’re glad to have you stop for a night or longer… Single night rentals are $125 +tax and weekend packages start at $200 +tax for Friday and Saturday night stays.

Amrhein’s Winery is just up the road from us and there’s so much to see and do in Floyd County. We’re in the quiet section of Floyd but the Crooked Road Music Trail and a new Floyd Crafters Trail close by lead visitors to the wonderful sites and sounds of our area. If you have questions about events or festivals in the area, make sure to call ahead 540.309.8821.
